Tell us about your piece and how it represents the Country that you are from?

I chose to focus my piece on a small county within the UK called Cornwall and the small seaside delights that can be found along the coast. 
This includes; Cornishware crockery, Seasalt clothing and a selection of traditional Cornish cuisine such as Stargazy pie!

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

Getting to grips with new tools, challenging but exciting to use new blades and test out some of Excels products.

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?

Definitely how broad the brief was, I was keen to focus on a small section of the UK and the South West has always been my fav!

I'm enjoying seeing other artist's style and ideas and how they interpret the brief too!

How did you enjoy working with Excel Blades?

They were great to work with. I normally use much smaller blades and tend to use quite thick cardstock so it's important to work with good quality blades and the no.11 didn't disappoint.
