Where do you make your work?

I make my paper art in my studio in Tel Aviv

How long have you been working with paper?

Professionally for about 7 years, but I’ve been working with paper in many forms since I was a little girl. I always loved working with it.

How would you describe your approach to paper art?

I illustrate and sculpt with paper. I personally enjoy working with paper, a versatile and tactile medium. I use different techniques with paper through folding,, cutting and tearing. The simple paper sheet can turn from 2D to 3D with just a fold. In small or large-scale, I love to explore and experiment paper and with modern technology

Where do you find inspiration?

I find my inspiration everywhere—the beauty and details in nature, it's textures, in traditional art around the world, in fashion. I love to fuse these together in my art.

Describe your work to us in three words:

Details, Textural, Colorful

What are your favorite papers to work with?

I love paper! I have lots of different types of papers, in all kinds of weight, textures, colors, strengths and thicknesses. I choose the type of paper based on the art I want to create.

What tool could you not live without?

A good pair of scissors, a bone folder, cutting board, glue and pencils. Good tools are absolutely essential.

Who are your favorite paper artists?

There are so many talented paper artists. My favorites specialize in different techniques, folding, cutting and sculpting: Matthew Shlian, Jeff Nishinaka, Zoe Bradley, Tiffanie Turner

What are you working on at the moment?

At the moment I’m working on some paper wearable art, a new series of 3D collages and Origami sculptures.
