Tell us a little about your piece?

The polar bear and the whale share the same Big ocean. Everything is interconnected. We need to protect the ocean and protect the living beings depending on it. They are helpless and are in this together. The polar bear is as endangered as whales and thousands of other species. I wanted to convey this message in a poetic way.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

My specialty making paper cut portraits. It was a challenge to work on another imagery. I had never worked on the animal / nature subject so had to find a new way to design.

For this one, I was less focus on the technique and more foucs on the message.

What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?

I am very concerned about our environment. Collaboration on meaningful projects with brand that are making products respectful of our planet is a good way to participate in raising consciousness and feeling you're doing your part.

How did you enjoy working with the paper?

I am used to work on monochrome or at most 2 colors. It was  great to have a large range of colours to work with, though I only worked with 4 of them for my project. It was easy to cut and to work with.
