Passer Angel Fish
Tell us a little about your piece?
I wanted to create a piece that I could include detail and texture and pattern to really showcase the tactile nature of the recycled paper. The blue and yellow paper really stood out to me so I chose to make a passer angel fish i this striking palette.
What was the most challenging part of the brief?
Creating depth and photographing the piece to showcase the details and patterns I was trying to create.
What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?
I enjoyed the mediative process of placing the individual scales of the fish. I find it very calming to sit and create with my hands.
How did you enjoy working with the paper?
I really like the earthy tones and textures of the papers, it is nice to experiment with coloured recycled paper stock.
