Tell us a little about your piece?

To celebrate the Chinese New Year for 2022, the year of the tiger. 

Inspired by many of the patterns, colours, embroideries and amazing artworks I I was lucky enough to experience on my own visit to China. 

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

Working on a more 3D piece and in coloured paper, something I am exploring lately.

What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?

Same as the most challenging part for me! Working with bolder colours is something I avoided for years so its so good to get out of my comfort zone and try new things, thats how you grow as an artist. Also knowing that the piece will be going to something so worthwhile is a great feeling.
