April 'Sakura'
Tell us a little about your piece?
The cherry blossom branch was created out of 3/8 in (10 mm) high on-edge paper strips. Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) have deep symbolic meaning, they represent the fragility and transience of life and the importance of living in the present; apt sentiments during these pandemic times. Their blooming season is relatively short, and usually occurs in April.
