4 Calling Birds
Tell us a little about your piece?I added the figure 4 as the main hero and which formed the frame for the plot movement in the composition. Some kind of tragic development inside the stability - that's the idea I would like to highlight in my piece. What was the most challenging part of the brief? When I first read the brief I had rather different idea for the piece so I chose the colours according to it, but when the papers arrived I decided to step aside from my common approach (white in the base, red on details) and create something exciting inspired by the energy of red so I made red as the main colour , and it became quite tricky to use pale blue then - I wish It was more deep. What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?I usually choose the colour white for my works but it was a great pleasure to make the piece in intensive colours, especially using red on red with white that make the story look very Christmas-like.How did you enjoy working with the Gmund Colours range?I like it, I wish I could use them all. That would be a new age for me as an artist
