Shine & Love

Tell us a little about your piece?

In this piece I’ve joined what I love most: geometry and typography. My inspiration was the beautiful and intricated ceilings of the gothic churches, not only to create the shapes but also the colours –white marble and gold ornaments. Love and light in our hearts is what we need most specially at this moment, and for me Christmas is all about it.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

I've decided to make the word 'Shine' literally lit, in a tangible way - there’s no digital filters to make the bright effect, I’ve used Photoshop only to make colour adjustments. I had to make many attempts and improve my photography skills to get this result.

What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?

Folding the stars and see how it gets impressive after assembly.

How did you enjoy working with the paper sent?

I loved the texture of the metallic paper and it' s very nice to fold. The metallic flakes in the white paper are also lovely and sophisticated.
