Snowball

Tell us about your piece and how it represents the Country that you are from?

It represents the beautiful winter in Norway. The different shapes my snowball takes and the fact that you can play with it represent all the different opportunities the winter brings in form of play and fun.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

I´ve made so many completely different sketches for this brief. I wanted to make something completely new so I´ve tried out everything from papercut flowers to traditional origami. I must therefore say that deciding on what to make was the most challenging part of the brief.

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?

I enjoyed being challenged to do something completely different from what I´ve done before. And I also loved seeing all the different shapes and opportunities my finished piece holds.

How did you enjoy working with Excel Blades?

Loved it! The blades are so, so sharp, and I have to change them less often than on my other scalpels. Took a while to get used to cutting with a different grip, but now that my hands are friends with a new grip I´m definently going to keep on using Excel Blades. I´ve allready bought a 100 new blades and Excel Blades has been so kind sending me their whole neon collection of scalpels and knifes. I´m a convert!
