Tell us a little about your piece?

The colour was the same as the sculpting interface of the 3D software that we are using. Then we decided to sculpt our faces and combine it into a self-portrait project. Also to express the Colorplan paper sheets, we used a layered sculpting technique.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

Giving the facial expressions and details with single colour 2D layers was really challenging for us.

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?

Creating a piece with limitations forces us to think outside the box and step out our safe-zone. That's the most enjoyable part of this kind of challenges.
