Tell us a little about your piece?

As my colour is a pastel green, it inspired me to create something based on nature which is why I chose a chameleon standing on a branch. I wanted to give it a twist though, so I included my love of science fiction. Instead of creating a real chameleon, I built a steampunk one with a built in automaton.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

To figure out how to build working mechanics inside the paper sculpture.

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?

I love the surprise element of the project, not knowing what colour I’ll use until I received my pack. Also, I enjoy working with only one colour.
