Tell us a little about your piece?
My piece is a celebration of summer sunsets. It's just a very limited period of the summer that we can see the sunsets from where we live. That makes it very special, and I look forward to it every year. So when I got the papers from Senses Paper I immediately found my theme. My beloved summer sunset view. I even added some led light in the background.
So my K is a 3D piece with trees, mountains and some fallen leaves. With seagulls in the back and some light through as an reflection on the fjord from May until August.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?
I'm not used to working with such bright colours, so it was tough thinking of a way to utilise the colours. Luckily the colours fitted perfectly with my jellyfish idea in the end!

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?
I enjoyed the possibility of playing with different techniques and adding the light. Summer memories in the middle of the dark Norwegian Winter made me smile.

How did you enjoy working with Senses Paper?
I've both folded and cut in this challenge, and I've loved doing both techniques with this paper, and the colors are just so beautiful.
