Tell us a little about your piece?

My colour palette inspired my piece. I decided to use the capsicum red and hibiscus pink to create a Queen of Hearts inspired letter Q. I used elements from the playing card to create a mandala, with a stack of cards to form the crossbar of the Q.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

Trying to decide what to make and only using 3 colours.

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?

I loved the challenge, I tried to fit in as many techniques as I could into my piece.

How did you enjoy working with Senses Paper?

The Senses Paper was very smooth and a pleasure to cut. I was really impressed with the richness of colour in the papers.
