Tell us a little about your piece?
While working on the piece I decided to play with the sound usually associated with with the letter, like the sound of snoring we usually come across in cartoons and comics. Besides "Z" is the last letter of the alphabet so the sleeping concept felt quite symbolic to me. The next step was to choose the character which could feel natural in the chosen colors and who could have enough plasticity to follow the silhouette of "Z" in a natural and elegant way. That's how the mermaid was chosen for this piece.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?
For me the most challenging part was dealing with the colors I was provided as my usual choice would be white for sure) and the photoshoot process turned out to be rather tricky in means of colors and light.

What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?
I did enjoy the idea to work within such colour restrictions I was given - it made me think twice about shadow-colour connection in means of one tone result, very good experience!

How did you enjoy working with Senses Paper?
My usual gsm choice of paper is 300 gsm, so working with 250 gsm Senses papers was new to me and turned out to be very pleasant experience. I like that it took me less time to glue the details to each other with the paper soft and flexible. I have enjoyed working with it!
