Tell us a little about your piece?
My piece is an I, it's inspired by the beautiful colours I got allocated and also my little two year old daughter Imber's fascination for Christmas trees and her playful and happy manner.
I also wanted to create a piece that makes people want to touch it. I love when I see art I just have to touch with my hands.
What was the most challenging part of the brief?
I usually create freehand paper cuts, this time I wanted to create something different. Doing something else than you usually do is always challenging, and to me it was the most challenging this time. But it was also what i found most giving and enjoyable.
What part of the brief did you enjoy the most?
No doubt the colours. I've just recently started using colours in my work and I loved that this brief gave me the opportunity to explore this side of my work even more.
How did you enjoy working with Senses Paper?
I really liked the colours of my paper, especially the pink. Its such a beautiful vibrant colour and I find the colours in them self to be very inspiring.
