Tell us a little about your piece?

My piece was inspired by the work of Christopher Marley and his stunning arrangements of insects and taxidermy animals. I had great fun designing my own paper insects and arranging them into a mandala pattern..

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

I was pretty set on how I wanted to approach the brief, I carefully stuck everything into place to realise that I had mixed the order up. A few bugs had to be carefully prized up and repositioned..

What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?

I love setting and taking part in these collaborative projects. My favourite part has to be seeing all of the entries come together to see how everyone has approached the brief.

How did you enjoy working with Excel Blades, tools?

I am a new covert to Excel blades, it took me a while to get used to them. The tweezers are fantastic and the perfect addition to my tools.
